Clinical features

  • Possible symptoms: fever, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhoea and jaundice
  • Hypergammaglobulinemia

  • Inflammatory cells (plasma cells, eosinophil’s and neutrophils)
  • Macrophages

Modern diagnostic techniques

  • Non contributory

Differential diagnosis

  • Mesenchymal hamartoma
    • Absence of inflammatory cells
    • Differential diagnosis may be difficult
